I'm pretty stoked for christmas this year, I'm going to be making ornaments sometime this week for my little pink tree. I also have to climb into the attic and fish it out of there, not looking forward to that. It's so creepy up there.

Here is this year's mix, for those that don't know.. I make a christmas mix every year, for the passed three years i've some what made it official by naming it very brito christmas. I've got some pieces up for sale on bear and bird, I'd really like to tell these with the gallery because it not only supports me but it supports them as well. They're reasonably priced as well. I'll be making a huge, huge entry about Art basel miami beach next week. I'll be down there taking in all the art and what not for the entire weekend.

Hey  
Did I really go another month with out updating this thing? I was kind of on the ball, then I fell off. Either way, here's a little photo wrap up of the past month. I though about making like a whole drawn out entry updating everyone on what i've done, but instead here it is in pictures...


btw, Neil made my new logo, you all should hire him to make you one too.

This is the second in a series of drawings I'm doing based on characters I love from different films, television shows, or anything really. The Royal Tenenbaums, directed by Wes Anderson, has always been on of my favorite movies. When I thought about which character i'd draw from the movie it was no question that it would be Margot. I drew her here smoking a cigarette, her wooden finger, and standing in Richie's living room gallery. The quote comes from the movie, the narrator says it about Margot in the beginning.
